About us

My name is Prashant Thakor and I am the proprietor and the mortgage & protection advisor at Thakor Mortgage services.

I’m currently a broker based in Surrey however I help clients all over the UK. I also have clients all over the world that have invested in property within the UK. (I was able to help them when they were on UK soil).

I have a wealth of experience having worked in the industry for over 10 years.
My business training actually started when I was a child as I used to sit at my parent’s business after school. I took note of how my parents built repour with their clients.

This is what I want to emulate at Thakor Mortgage Services; that reliable and transparent service. I also want to provide a tailored approach to meet an individual’s requirements as well as factoring the market conditions. There is no one size fits all, here at Thakor Mortgage Services.

This is why I used my surname as my business name, as I want to provide the same service to my clients as my parents did with their customers.
I really enjoy helping people fulfil their dreams, knowing that I’ve helped to get their home. This is what gives me my job satisfaction and why I have been a broker for so long.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling the world learning about new cultures, spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy cooking and I have a keen interest in my martial arts training. There is also nothing more rewarding then giving back to others and so I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer and support a local charity in Surrey.
